Hi, I’m Suzanne, a certified herbalist passionate about natural healing...
My journey with plants began long before I studied herbal medicine— when I was a child, I filled my room with greenery, drawn to the quiet wisdom of nature. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong passion. As a teenager, I became fascinated by the healing power of herbs, and by the age of 20, I had started my first herbal medicine training in Belgium.
Although I eventually chose to pursue osteopathy instead, something never quite clicked with the mechanical approach of that profession. Over time, I felt called back to the natural world and the more holistic path that had inspired me from the beginning.
I returned to my roots and completed a two-year herbal medicine program at ESMTC in Lisbon, including a 200-hour clinical internship. This experience deepened not only my knowledge but also my respect for the gentle, powerful way plants can support health and well-being.
Today, I bring that knowledge, experience, and deep love for herbs into my practice—helping others reconnect with nature, listen to their bodies, and explore natural ways to heal and thrive.

In Portugal, herbal medicine—known as fitoterapia—is officially recognised as a primary healthcare profession under the law governing non-conventional therapies (terapias não convencionais). To practice legally, herbalists must hold a professional license (cédula profissional) issued by the ACSS (Administração Central do Sistema de Saúde).
Alongside herbal medicine, other non-conventional therapies such as chiropractic, osteopathy, acupuncture, and traditional Chinese medicine are fully regulated in Portugal. Homeopathy is also included under this law but is still in the process of being formally regulated.
